The series is centered around the Government Flying Service (Hong Kong) , which is responsible for search and rescue (SAR), air ambulance, firefighting and assisting in police operations.

Matthew Ko ( Ekin Cheng ), second commander of aircrew and Benjamin Yip ( Bowie Lam ), first commander of pilot crew, work together in the GFS both assigned with specific tasks. Matt rescues people whilst Ben flies the aircraft.

With the annual recruitment program, Matt and Ben are both assigned to train freshman Sandra Si ( Linda Chung ), third commander of aircrew, and Kelvin Cheung ( Chris Lai ), a cadet pilot.

Sandra and Kelvin face extreme hardship in their training as well as dealing with personally issues involving family and friends.

Meanwhile, their trainer Matt and Ben are also tackling their own problems. Matt’s long time girlfriend Carrie Hong ( Charmaine Sheh ) finally wakes up from a three year long coma but with the total lost of memory. Matt helps her through rehabilitation and she becomes a GFS rescue doctor. Carrie accepts Matt once again as her boyfriend but realises he spends too much time in his work and helping others thus neglecting her. When Carrie finally gets her memory back, she remembers she was to end her relationship with Matt before her accident leading to her coma. After Matt and Carrie broke up, Carrie seeks comfort from Ben and they eventually started a relationship together.

After a series of events, Sandra falls in love with the now single Matt. Matt initially rejected her but eventually he developed feelings leading to a happy ending.
